caliber lineup features a wider meplat than the 240 TC design and a plain base
for the purists.
This bullet features a wide lube groove so it provides good
lubrication for high velocity use and features good driving band length for long
distance accuracy.
The TC design is self centering to the forcing cone and is
more aerodynamic than an equivalent semi-wadcutter style.
The weight and design will be especially useful in .44
Special as well as finding a home in the .44 Magnum.
The bullet is offered in the Target Grade at 12 - 14 BHN for
velocities up to 1000 fps while the premium grade version will handle 1600+ fps
when loaded with any magnum speed powder. (2400, WW296, H110, AA #9, Lil’ Gun,
IMR 4227).
The design is also lever action friendly for those so
inclined.
