    Developed by world renown handgun hunter J.D.Jones the .44 caliber 320 grain SSK bullet became THE heavyweight bullet for the .44 Magnum. This bullet maximizes the power that the .44 was always capable of but was never full exploited until this bullet was developed. This design is a second generation design over the original featuring Dual Crimp Grooves that J.D. incorporated to take advantage of longer cylinder guns (Ruger Redhawk and Dan Wessons) to push this bullet at over 1500 FPS while keeping pressure levels within SAMMI Specs. Successfully used to kill 2600 pound Cape Buffaloes, the design is a proven one. Here is a case where the jacketed bullet makers tried to imitate but failed. The cast version is the superior bullet. This bullet provides the extreme penetration and snowplow effect to make it a superb hunting bullet. Capable of generating 150 more fps than any jacketed counterpart and no fragmentation like the jacketed versions.
