.45 Caliber

     I offer and extensive line of .45 caliber bullets from the lightweight to the heavyweights. Whether you are shooting an auto or revolver or rifle in this caliber and are looking for something for target or hunting use I have something that will fulfill your need.
    For Cowboy Action shooters I normally stock those designs in .454 as well as .452 due to the variations in tolerances on many of these guns. It is important to measure the cylinder throats on your gun to get a proper fit to insure the best accuracy. Many lever guns can also benefit from bullets that are a better fit as well. If you are experiencing some blowback around the mouths of the cases (evidenced by soot and fouling) this could indicate that you are not getting an effective seal and the gun could benefit from a larger diameter bullet.... One last suggestion, the .45 230 grain Truncated Cone bullet is an outstanding choice for use in the lever guns. The rate of twist seems optimal for this bullet. Although the bullet does not have a crimp groove a firm taper crimp is more than adequate to get the job done.
