Designed by world renowned handgun hunter J.D.Jones of SSK industries, this bullet features a large Meplat, Dual lubrication grooves and a Truncated Cone profile for accuracy. This bullet has taken every major game animal on the planet. The Casull Alloy was developed for this bullet. starting with a 21 Bhn alloy and then adding a 2% silver based alloy increases the strength and ductility of the alloy and makes this bullet nearly indestructible on any game animals. Velocity rated to 2100 fps. there is no need for any gascheck. Since this bullet fills the ends of the cylinder it is necessary to know the throat dimensions of the cylinder on the gun you have to insure a proper fit. Early versions of the Freedom Arms revolvers needed bullets at .451 while later versions and the Taurus Raging Bull and The Ruger Super Redhawk will take .452 .... Heavy recoil can make the bullet come out of the case if insufficient crimp is applied. Redding’s Profile crimp works well in eliminating that problem.
