This is the lightest bullet I make in this caliber and it is designed to feed and function through lever guns and provides low recoil in Thompson Center Contenders and Encores. The flat nose design is suitable for deer sized game and the accuracy is good. It is not suitable for most single shot Sharps type rifles as the rate of twist in those guns is set up for a heavier weight bullet (usually 500 grains). This over stabilizes the bullet and the groups will be non existent. Velocity Rated to 2000 fps. This design is not good for black powder applications as it is a single grease groove design. A better choice will be the 310 grain RNFP with dual grease grooves.
