The 420 grain is listed as a Thunderhead design as I have decided to classify all bullets that I manufacture that feature a maximum meplat to be included under this designation. This bullet certainly qualifies. It is perfectly usable in the .480 Ruger and will allow that cartridge to develop its full potential. The .480 Ruger is just a slightly shorter version of the .475 Linebaugh but Ruger wanted to have is own designation so they changed the cartridge a bit and christened it with their namesake. Since this bullet is designed to be an absolutely No Fail hunting bullet it is cast from the superior Casull Alloy with a 2 % silver base alloy added. Accuracy is outstanding as the bullet features excellent driving band length and dual wide lubrication grooves.
